Dear Friends:

I have enjoyed a wonderful 18 years in my original gallery space in Crossroads in Vail, Colorado. Vail Fine Art has grown into six beautiful galleries and your kind support has made this marvelous growth possible. Please accept my deepest and most sincere thank you.

Impressionistic art has been my love since I was very young and it still is today. I have traveled to much of South America, the Far East and most of Europe in search of excellent art.

Starting in 1993 I have been searching out superbly trained artists from the former Soviet Union and nearby countries. The Russians wanted to have the best ballet dancers, the best musicians and the best operatic singers in the world. They succeeded quite well. However, one of their main successes still remains. That is the quality of artists and artworks they produced over the last 300 years.

My art collection begins with the year 1904 and goes right into the present day with the many fine Soviet-era artists I represent.

Recently, I met the daughter of one of Russia's finest artists from the past and concluded an agreement with her to represent her father's work exclusively in the United States. The work is breathtaking. You will see it soon in my galleries.

The old Crossroads building has just been demolished to make way for a truly grand edifice to be called Solaris. I am privileged to have made an agreement with the building's owner to regain a gallery space in Solaris similar in size and grandeur to the old Vail Fine Art Gallery. During the approximate 2 year building interim, Vail Fine Art is residing in two nearby gallery locations, one at 227 Bridge Street and the other at 232 Wall Street in Vail Village.

The same wonderful and knowledgeable sales consultants are still available to tempt you with some of the finest impressionistic art in the world. Save some time for me to tell you about my latest adventures in finding a major masterpiece (about 7 feet by 8 feet in size) and getting permission to bring it out of Russia and into the United States.

Thank you again for your friendship and your patronage,

James G. Tylich
